Elder Lamar Berry is a native of Glennville, GA and is married to Dr. Stacey Berry. He is the Senior Pastor and founder of the Upper Room Deliverance Center, located in Glennville, GA. He has over 30 years of service to the US Government and is a humble servant who loves people and delights in assisting with their life transformation.

Pastor Berry has been in ministry over 20 years and his areas of expertise are in teaching, preaching, and counseling. He uses many unique techniques to reach and inspire lives: these include preaching the word, playing sports, teaching carpentry skills and of course using his equestrian ministry (horses). Pastor Berry has also traveled overseas and ministered to soldiers and civilians in Afghanistan.

Many emulate his servant hood because he believes in leading by example. Those in whom he crosses paths with recognize his love for God, his service, and humble spirit. Pastor Berry loves spending time with the young and young at heart demonstrating that living for Christ is great no matter what your age may be. In Jan 2024, along with his wife, Dr. Stacey Berry, they also became the pastors of the Powerhouse of Deliverance Center Church in Hinesville, GA. He continues to lead, encourage, and persuade many to live the guilt free, faith-based life, filled with hope and prosperity that can only be found in Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
